Join us for a relaxed summer afternoon at Roundhay Park as we bring local families together for connection, conversation and outdoor adventure. Picnic in the Park is a free community event hosted by Synergy Community Wellbeing CIC, created for families who value nature, fresh air and meaningful connection. Whether you’re looking to meet other local families, spend quality time outdoors with your children or simply enjoy a slower pace of life for a few hours, you’re warmly invited to join us. Bring your own picnic, a blanket and everything you need for a comfortable afternoon in the park. Every child will receive a Nature Explorer Pack filled with fun activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity and exploration of the natural world. There is no strict schedule and no pressure to participate. Families are free to relax, chat, explore the park, enjoy the playground, take a walk around the lake or simply enjoy time together in a welcoming and supportive environment.
